Prancis - Simon Clarke sukses menundukkan etape kelima, TDF 2022. Rute sejauh 157 km, diselingi 11 segmen jalan berbatu. Tiap segmen sekitar 1,5, hingga 2 km. Luar Biasa!

Hasil etape 5 TDF 2022 masih menempatkan Wout Van Aert di puncak General Classification (GC). Hanya saja, pebalap tim Jumbo Visma tersebut belum bisa tenang. Ada Neilson Powless yang membayangi dengan selisih 13 detik.
