Liverpool vs Manchester City yang akan menjadi sajian di Community Shield akhir pekan ini. King Power Stadium, Sabtu (30/7/2022) pukul 23.00 WIB, pertandingan itu digelar.
Liverpool cuma kalah dari Manchester United sebagai tim yang paling sering berlaga di Community Shield. Dengan laga akhir pekan nanti, Si Merah akan menempati posisi kedua dengan 24 pertandingan, unggul satu laga dari Arsenal di posisi ketiga.

Sebanyak 15 kali Liverpool sukses menjadi juara Community Shield. Sementara delapan laga lainnya menjadi runner-up.
Dalam dua Community Shield terakhir yang dijalani, Liverpool selalu tumbang. Arsenal yang mengalahkan Liverpool pada edisi 2020, sebelumnya Manchester City yang menumbangkan Mohamed Salah cs. Dalam dua laga itu, Liverpool kalah adu penalti.
Terakhir kali Liverpool menjadi juara Community Shield pada 2006. Saat itu, Tim Merseyside itu menang 2-1 atas Chelsea.
