Hasil Liga Inggris semalam penuh kejutan. Chelsea dan Liverpool menang, Leicester City dan Tottenham Hotspur keok!

Dimulai dari hari Minggu (31/1/2021) pukul 19.00 WIB, Chelsea menghadapi Burnley di lanjutan Liga Inggris pekan ke-21. Inilah pertandingan kedua The Blues di bawah komando baru manajer Thomas Tuchel.

Chelsea memenangi laga dengan skor 2-0. Gol-gol The Blues dicetak oleh Cesar Azpilicueta dan Marcos Alonso.

Kemudian ada Leicester City vs Leeds United, tuan rumah sempat di atas angin lewat gol Harvey Barnes tapi tak lama disamakan oleh Stuart Dallas. Di babak kedua, Leeds United mampu membalikkan keadaan lewat gol Patrick Bamford dan Jack Harrison hingga skor akhir 3-1 buat Leeds.

Leeds United mampu tampil impresif. Patrick Bamford jadi bintang kemenangan dengan satu gol dan dua assist.

Selanjutnya pada Senin (1/2/2021) dini hari pukul 00.30 WIB ada laga West Ham United vs Liverpool. Babak pertama berjalan ketat, kedua tim bermain rapat.

Babak kedua, kejelian taktik Juergen Klopp jadi pembeda. Liverpool mampu mencetak tiga gol lewat brace Mohamed Salah dan Georginio Wijnaldum, cuma bisa dibalas oleh gol Craig Dawson jelang laga usai.

The Reds mengamankan tiga poin dengan kemenangan 3-1.

Terakhir, terjadi kejutan di laga Brighton & Hove Albion vs Tottenham Hotspur. Tuan rumah yang sejatinya kini sebagai tim papan bawah, mampu menang 1-0!

Brighton mampu unggul 1-0 lewat gol dari Leandro Trossard di menit ke-17. Tottenham Hotspur yang tanpa Harry Kane, tidak mampu membalas sampai babak kedua tuntas dan harus menerima kekalahan.
